'Google Now' Brings Handy Notifications To The Chrome Browser
Get ready to waste countless hours staring at your cricket scores.
With Jelly Bean reaching more than 50 percent of Android devices, Google Now's usage is on the rise. This feature makes for a convenient way to get the information you need.
Now finally, Google Now has made it to the Chrome browser. Needless to say, this notification system will mostly be used to receive Cricket updates in India. If you're planning to do so, all you have to do is choose your favourite team and 'Google Now' will push scores directly to your browser or mobile phone. Similar to the Android interface, Google Now's card-based UI is quite user-friendly on the desktop browser.
Apart from Cricket updates, there are a host of other notifications one can access. This can be anything from weather updates to event reminders. So if you are logged into Google account using the Chrome browser, expect to see such notifications.
Do note that the roll out will take a couple of weeks.
