Oppo Find 7’s 50 Megapixel Camera Samples Spotted Online
Images top 10 MB in size even though it’s mostly a software trick.

It was one of the most interesting launches of 2014 so far. Yes, we are talking about Oppo's Find 7 that comes with a QHD display, powerful innards, and 13 megapixel camera that can shoot 50 MP images using some software trick. However, the company didn't demonstrate the 50 MP camera mode thoroughly.
Finally, we have some samples showing up on eprice.com.hk’s forums. The images from Sony's Exmor sensor sure look good in daylight. The full blown shots go as big as 10 MB in size. The samples contain a lot of detail, but somehow misses out on the polish. There also seems to be blown out highlights and purple fringing in the images. We guess that these photographs were shot with a prototype. Lets hope that the images from a final product will be as good as those shot during the MWC.
Unless Oppo addresses these camera issues, there's no way the Find 7 will outdo the Nokia Lumia 1020.
