Karbonn Adds Three New Handsets To Titanium Series
All three handsets run Android Kitkat 4.4 out-of-the-box.

Karbonn announced three new smartphones that come with some really pumped-up hardware specifications minus the high-end price tags. Surprisingly, all these mid-range phones offer Android 4.4 Kitkat out-of-the-box. First up is the powerful Titanium Octane Plus powered by MediaTek's MT6592 octa-core processor running at 1.7 GHz. It flaunts a large 5-inch Full HD display with an 8 MP front-facing camera. At the back is a 16 megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash. 16 GB of internal storage should be more than sufficient. The battery is 2000 mAh. The Octane Plus is priced at Rs 18,000 and comes with Android’s latest and greatest version KitKat.
Next is the Titanium Hexa, which will be priced at Rs 17,000. As the name suggests, the handset is powered by a MediaTek’s newest MT6591 hexa-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and again comes with 2 GB of RAM. On the front is a 5.5 inch Full HD display, while on the back sits a 13 MP camera with LED flash. The handset comes with 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable via a microSD card slot. Lastly, the handset is fuelled by a large 2020 mAh battery, which is slightly bigger than the one found in the Octane Plus.
The third handset to be announced was the Titanium Octane. It is a watered down version of the Octane Plus. A 5 inch HD (1280 x720 pixel) handled by the MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor. A 13 MP camera sits at the back, while there's also a 5 megapixel snapper for selfies. Priced at Rs 14,500, this handset runs Android KitKat 4.4 out-of-the-box.
