Samsung GALAXY S5 To Be Priced At Rs 45,500 In India
However, there's no word on the release date yet.
Samsung introduced the GALAXY S5 at the MWC with great fanfare adding a couple of new features to last year’s S4. However, critics were not impressed since it sported the same boring design of the GALAXY S4.
Today the phone made a brief appearance on Saholic.com with a price tag of Rs 45,500. Obviously, the listing was removed from the website quickly, but not before getting noticed. The pricing doesn't come as a surprise since the GALAXY S4 has recently seen a sharp price drop (now available for Rs 30,000). However, there was no word on the availability though.
A few days ago, AndroidCentral.com reported that Samsung may build a premium version of the S5 with some blown up specs and a metal body. Will the alleged GALAXY S5 Prime deliver a phone that is worth its price? Or will Samsung simply give up and stand defeated by its own flagships, only time will tell.
