Play Store Offers "Big" Discounts On Its Second Name Day
However, no freebies this time around.
Two years ago, Android Market was named as Play Store. To celebrate its second name day, Play Store is offering a few games on discounted prices. Unfortunately, the app selection isn't that great.
Android fans are probably used to downloading free apps during Google’s Android celebrations, which is in fact a good time to show some love to the community. For last few years, Google has been sprinkling android fans with some really good freebies. However this time’s celebrations went down the discounted and the Play Store has been dealing out discounts on in-app purchases instead. Most of the titles that do have a discount are games that are not so popular to begin with and the games seem to be mainly multi-player by nature.
We are wondering whether this a celebration or a promotional push for multi-player games. Well for now, Android Play Store celebrations just seems plain boring.
