HTC Does A ‘Samsung’ With The KitKat Update Rollout
The Taiwanese brand suspends Android 4.4 update due to undesirable phone behaviour.

HTC One KitKat software update may have become a bitter for some HTC One users. According to ibtimes.com, many users are reporting undesirable phone behaviour post software update. The issues vary from the excessive battery drain to automatic switching of speaker mode during calls. Seems that a hard reset (which will clear all data on your device) to remedy some of the problems, but then it is not the way an OTA updates are supposed to work.
HTC finally took a call and announced that the rollout would be suspended and that the company is working on a fix. They seem to have moved back to "integration" mode as per HTC UK and will be working on the branded Sense layer which may be the cause of the problem. The handsets affected were mainly in the UK and parts of Europe and possibly some of the US HTC One owners via their operators.
Have you experienced any undesirable behaviour with your HTC One here in India post updating to KitKat?
