SpiceJet App Takes-Off With Windows Phone

Budget Indian carrier, SpiceJet has introduced its flight booking app. This time, it’s only available for Windows Phone users. We’re sure that Android and iOS versions are in works too.

Apart from letting you book tickets, the app allows you to check flight status and avail promotional offers. One also has the option of selecting premium seats by paying an additional amount. Then there’s a well-compiled travel section Spice Destinations, which provides access to exciting holiday destinations and flight options. The app also has a tap-to-call option to dial a 24x7 sales & reservations number for assistance.

The app is quite stable, and even adhere to Microsoft’s ‘modern’ (earlier known as Metro) design guidelines. It’s compatible with Windows Phone 7.5 and 8 devices including the Lumia 1520, Lumia 1020, Lumia 925, Lumia 920, Lumia 800, HTC 8X, and HTC 8S.
