Skype For Outlook.com Gets A Worldwide Release
Let's you make video calls right from your inbox.

Last year, Microsoft introduced Skype calling to its web-mail service Outlook.com. The service was initially available in a few countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Brazil, France, and Canada. After a successful run, the software-giant has finally rolled out this service globally.
Outlook users around the world can now link their Skype contacts via Outlook.com’s ‘People Hub’. After that, you’ll be prompted to install a 5 MB browser plugin to handle voice and video calls. To initiate a call, you simply have to click on messaging hub, select a contact.
Apart from Skype, Outlook.com also gels well with your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google friends. The latest version of the plugin also supports Macs. Another thing worth noting is that the app supports HD video calling. Of course, you’ll need high-speed data connection for that.
The Skype for Outlook.com plugin can be downloaded using this link.
