Upcoming Karbonn Smartphone To Pair Windows Phone With Android
Will dual-boot OS be the future of mobiles?
Love it or hate it, as much as we Android lovers take phone customizations to the extremes, there is always this curiosity about exploring other platforms. Well an upcoming Karbonn mobiles may let you try the Windows Phone platform without having to let go of Android. According to The Times Of India, the domestic manufacturer is working on a phone capable of running two operating systems. It's said that the phone might launch as early as June this year.
As of now we have no clue whether Karbonn is going ahead with software switching on-the-go or with a reboot. We can be sure of one thing though, the phone will need a lot of on-board memory coupled with oodles of RAM.
The area of concern here is the delivery of software updates. Since no one has ventured into this territory so far, will Karbonn be able to roll out timely Windows Phone and Android updates?
