Rumour: iPhone 6 To Feature An Edge-To-Edge Display
After ‘antennae-gate’, it looks like ‘display-gate’ is waiting to happen.
Fresh leaks from a French site Nowhereelse.fr pointing at a 4.3 inch screen for the upcoming iPhone 6. Ruling out the possibilities that this could be an early prototype, it is interesting to note how they managed to squeeze that 4.3 inch screen into the existing iPhone 5s/5 frame.
From what it looks like, Apple may actually do away with the bezels on the right and left of the screen to accommodate a bigger screen. Apple users are app happy. If there is one area Apple hasn't tapped in is the large screen market segment. iPads are too big and the iPhone is small for watching a movie comfortably. This could be the reason why Apple is trying to build bigger iPhone.
After all, when Windows Phone and Android can offer so much variety, Apple’s one size fits all policy cannot stand ground for too long. Moreover, with an edge-to-edge screen, we are sure Apple will be prepping another ‘how to hold your iPhone 6’ announcement, pretty soon after launch.
