Yes, You Can Make The Nokia X Look Like "Real" Android
With a bit of side-loading app effort, that is.

Even though the Nokia X is a bit of a mixed bag when it comes calling it an android device, there is definitely no confusion that Microsoft does not want Google snooping in here. Their custom UI makes life for a Nokia X user a lot less complicated while the Nokia built App Store loaded with compatible android apps will take care of the app bank that everyone cares about.
But, what if you do not fancy the tile interface which looks like Windows Phone plaform? Well, in a surprising turn of events, someone managed to side load Nova launcher onto a Nokia X right at the Nokia booth at the MWC 2014.
There is no knowledge about who did it, but pictures from a Malaysian website Lowyat, net show the phone running nova launcher with custom icons in the app drawer. We are sure Microsoft and Nokia would not want this to happen as they want Nokia X to become a sidekick Windows Phone. Moreover, Nokia seems pretty hell-bent on pushing the tile-based interface, which will eventually get users accustomed to the Modern UI of Windows Phone. So we can be sure that a third-party launcher on the Nokia App Store will definitely be a big NO.
We think Nokia should prepare itself for a little give and take considering that android is all about customisation.
