Nokia And HTC Sling A Fast One At 'Samesung'

The competitors have started taking jab at Samsung for failing to deliver a new design.

 

What happens when you unveil a similar spec'd android phone to a bunch of hungry fans who have been waiting for something hardcore? Well, ask Samsung! There were multiple leaks stating that the Korean smartphone manufacturer would include a powerful 64-bit processor with a WQXGA (2560x1600) AMOLED screen with the GALAXY S5. More importantly, everyone was hoping for a design change.

However, at yesterday's 'Unpacked' event, nothing even remotely close to those speculations showed up. Samsung unveiled a handset almost similar to last year’s offering. Fans took to twitter with outrage as they were thoroughly disappointed.

This is exactly when the competition took advantage of the situation. Nokia posted an image of Lumia with text reading “Not the Samesung”.
 

 

HTC didn’t hold back either. The Taiwanese smartphone-maker decided to let the GALAXY S5 owners know that buyer’s remorse would be experienced soon by S5 owners. A few hours later they had another go with an image that went up on twitter reading “Hope they’re ready to be One-upped.”

Let’s hope HTC indeed has something new to show us with their Dual Camera setup.
