MWC 2014: Nokia Keeps The 'Hope' Alive With Asha 230
Can run Facebook and Whatsapp, but can it compete with entry-level smartphones.

Looks like Nokia has too many things going on at the same time. It's working on Windows Phone in high-end and budget segment. In the entry-level smartphone market it's prepping to roll out Android-powered Nokia X platform. If all this wasn't enough, it's still continuing the Asha platform with the launch of 230 in Barcelona. According to the Finnish handset maker, this phone will add more value to their existing Asha line-up.
With an estimated price of 45 euros (3900 INR) the Asha 230 will sport a 2.8 inch Transflective LCD (240x320 pixel) display and will be running Asha platform skinned with the Fastlane UI. The phone will feature a 1.3 MP camera unit with fixed focus and support up to 32 GB of storage via external SD. The phone will come with WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, LINE and WeChat built-in and will be available in Bright Red, Bright Green, Black, Cyan, White, and Yellow.
The Nokia Asha 230 sports a 1020 mAh battery, which should be sufficient considering their screen sizes. dual-SIM variants with similar specifications.
