Rumour: Another Sony Handsets Spotted Prior Launch
The upcoming handset is expected to inaugurate D-series.
It’s raining mid-range handsets all over and Sony just jumped on-board as well. Seems like Sony will have quite a few offerings in the much talked ‘mid-tier’ 2014.
The newest leak from @ViziLeaks seems to be pointing to a much larger handset than the Xperia G whose images we saw last week. The source is quite credible considering they are the guys who leaked the iconic Nokia Lumia 1020. But then, it's always better to take leaks with a pinch of salt.
Following the previous one, this handset looks inspired by the company's premium design seen in the Z or Z1. Going by the images, the handset will have less glass and more plastic though. Moreover, don't expect element protection, as IP ratings are missing on the back of these handset. Moving on, the hardware is supposed to pack in LTE bands, a 4.8 inch screen with 8 GB of internal memory. While there is no sign of the processor, 1 GB of RAM would make it onboard along with an 8 megapixel camera.
