Rumour: LG Working On G2 Mini With A 4.7-Inch Screen
Likely to be revealed at MWC 2014 later this month.
We have seen top manufacturers like Samsung and HTC launching mini models of their flagship phones. Seems like the South Korean giant, LG is planning the same. According to phonearena.com, the company is working on a smaller variant of its current flagship smartphone, the LG G2. It's said to have multiple variants including the LG D618 and LG D620. The G2 mini might not be so small after all. It is 2.59-inch (65.8 mm) wide and 5.07-inch (128.8 mm) tall, which makes it as large as an LG Optimus L9 II. The LG G2 mini might come with a 4.7-inch display, as rumoured. The smartphone will have a removable battery. There's also Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi. The LG G2 mini could come with a Snapdragon 800 SoC and 2 GB of RAM, just like its older sibling. Rumour has it that LG might opt for an 8 megapixel camera.
As of this writing, the details about this upcoming phone are sketchy. There's no word on its pricing and release date, but you can expect it to go official at Mobile World Congress (MWC) later this year.
