Samsung Reveals Yet Another Unwieldy GALAXY Mega Handset
Will a capable quad-core processor cut the deal for this monster.
Revealed in China, Samsung’s GALAXY Mega Plus appears to bring nothing new the game compared to last year’s Mega 5.8. It has got the same 5.8-inch qHD (960x540) display similar to the Mega 5.8, same 2600 mAh battery unit, and 8 megapixel camera with an LED Flash. It’s at the heart where the changes have taken place with the GALAXY Mega Plus. It thumps faster and fires on all four 1.2 GHz cores compared to last year’s dual-core 1.4 GHz offering.
What remains the same though is the 1.5 GB RAM and 8 GB of on-board storage which is plenty when compared to earlier flagships like the best-selling GALAXY S3. Dual-SIM support with dual standby and SIM always on, also made it to this handset. The phone comes in blue and white with Android Jelly Bean V 4.2.
Do you see this as a worthy upgrade to your older Mega 5.8 if it goes for a worldwide release?
