Samsung’s MWC Invite Gives A Glimpse Of Its New UI Design
It was about time they overhauled the outdated TouchWiz UI.
If there is one thing that turns heads in the world of Android, it would be the word ‘customization’. Android phone manufacturers use these skins to deliver their unique user experience. Like it or not, but sometimes the change is good. Thankfully, Samsung seems to be thinking on the same lines as well. The age-old TouchWiz as per many leaks in the past months seems to get getting chucked off in exchange for a fresh new UI coming with the eagerly-awaited GALAXY S5.
New evidence popped up in the form of a revised ‘Unpacked 5’ invite which shows us a new set of icons displaying the upcoming features of was is rumoured to be the Galaxy S5. All the new icons have a more flat design with modern symbols compared to the chubby skeumorphic designs of the past. We have our fingers crossed hoping that Samsung has moved on from the boring and heavy TouchWiz to something that is actually useful in day-to-day usage.
