Karbonn's Upcoming Sub-5k Smartphone A91 Spotted Online

The 3.9-incher will ship with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

 

Karbonn, which is the second biggest domestic brand in India has added A91 to its smartphone line-up. While the company hasn't made an official announcement yet, the phone has already been listed on Flipkart.com. According to the ecommerce website, the phone boasts of a 3.9" screen with 480x800 pixels. The A91 is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core CPU, and has only 256 MB of RAM. Good luck running Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) on that. For photography, there's a 3.2 megapixel camera. The phone comes with 512 MB internal storage, microSD card slot, 1500 mAh battery, and dual-SIM support. What's missing here is the 3G connectivity.

Apart from the usual white and black, the Karbonn A91 comes bright red. The phone is priced at Rs 4490, and is expected to hit the market in coming weeks.
