Rumour: Nokia Working On Compact Variant Of Lumia 1520

Could sport a 4.45-inch HD screen and 14 megapixel "PureView" camera.

 

The Lumia 1520 is the biggest phone to come out of Nokia's stable. The 6-incher is also the first Windows Phone device to flaunt a quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset. Throw a 20 megapixel "PureView" camera in the mix, and you get the device that can take any Android flagship head-on. That said, the 1520's size is not everyone's cup of tea. Thankfully, the Finns seem to be aware of the situation. The first image of the so called Lumia 1520 Mini (codenamed 1520V) surfaced on Chinese website WPbar.cn last week. It clearly looked like a Photoshop job, so we decided not to carry that news. However now, another image of the phone has been spotted on the famous microblogging site Weibo.com. This image shows the upcoming phone besides what appears to be an iPhone 5/iPhone 5S. It's blurry like every other leaked image you see on the Internet.

The rumour has it that the 1520V will a 4.45" screen with 1280x768 pixels. Moreover, you can expect a 14 megapixel camera and 2370 mAh battery. With MWC 2014 taking place next month, you can expect Nokia to announce this handset in Barcelona.
