Acer’s Iconia W4 Tablet With Windows 8.1 Arrives In India
The tablet packs in a 4th gen Intel 1.8 GHz quad-core Atom processor.
Acer has unveiled its new 8-inch Iconia W4 tablet in India. The Iconia W4 runs Windows 8.1 and is powered by a 4th gen Intel 1.8 GHz quad-core Atom processor. It weighs 415 grams and is just 10.75 mm thick.
Pre-loaded with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013, it allows users to create and edit Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files, on the fly. Equipped with an IPS screen, the Iconia W4 promises viewing angles of up to 170 degrees.
The Iconia W4 supports a 16:10 aspect ratio with pixel dimensions of 1280x800 and 5-finger multi-touch. It packs in a 2 MP 1080p front camera and 5 MP rear camera with autofocus. The HDMI micro port lets you connect to an external display for sharing content.
The 5.3 mm thin silver keyboard offers Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity and can be juiced up using a Micro USB cable. Other W4 accessories include the Acer Keyboard Cover, protection film, responsive passive stylus, power bank, and adaptor kit with bag.
The Acer ICONIA W4 is priced at R 25,000 and Rs 27,000 respectively for 32 GB and 64 GB versions.
