Samsung Announces GALAXY Core Advance
Android based handset with 4.7-inch screen comes with 1.2 GHz processor and 1 GB RAM.
With the yearend approaching, Samsung has added another handset to its GALAXY line up with the GALAXY Core Advance smartphone. Earlier this year, Samsung had launched the GALAXY Core and Core Plus. This new addition has a 4.7-inch TFT display with WVGA resolution. It is powered by a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor and has 1 GB of RAM. It has internal storage of 8 GB and supports microSD card up to 64 GB.
The phone sports dedicated keys for voice recorder, camera, and power functions. This handset from Samsung measures 133.3x70.5x9.7 mm and weighs 145 grams. It has a 5 megapixel autofocus rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. Connectivity includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and GPS with GLONASS .The Samsung GALAXY Core Advance runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and packs a 2000 mAh battery. It will be available in Deep Blue and Pearl White colours. There is no official word on the pricing yet, but it is most likely to go on sale by early 2014.
