Give Your Paper Plane Wings With PowerUp 3.0
Kickstarter project will soon see mass production.
Now not everything that goes up on Kickstarter.com is worth writing home about. Most of it won't even make it to Indian shores. But sometimes there is something interesting that slides through the cracks. One such listing is the PowerUp 3.0, which mechanises your good 'ol paper plane.
Designed by Shai Goitein, this Bluetooth-controlled device consists of a propeller and rudder, with a chip that you need to attach on your paper plane. For those who don’t know the folds, the listing page takes care of that too.
The plane's speed and direction can be controlled via a smartphone up to an impressive 60 yards. The control app is available only for the iOS and Android platforms for now. On full charge, it can fly for 10 minutes. And yes, the makers claim that the device is crash proof too. Check out the video below to know more.
