Google India Puts Up An Election-Special Portal
Will put out updates on campaigns, news, and information pertaining to elections across various states.
Well, the election season is almost upon us and Google India seems to be playing the Good Samaritan. The search giant has unveiled a new elections portal for voters in India. Apart from understanding the electoral process, the official blog adds that users can get access to elections-related news along with detailed information on specific political parties. For first time voters, there is a complete system that lets you understand how to register yourself and any other information you are looking for.
As the elections progress, content from YouTube and Google Hangout sessions will also be updated periodically. Until that happens, check out two videos below with political party leaders glorifying their achievements. I must warn you though, it's not for the weak hearted!
