Will LG Beat Google In The Glass Game?

Files trademark for a new product called Glasstic specs.

 

Even as Google tries to brew the perfect concoction before bringing out the Glass into the retail markets, LG may just beat the search giant to it. Tech Radar reports that the brand is out with a new product called Glasstic specs, for which it filed a trademark, earlier this month.

The product has been listed as "Mobile phones" and "Spectacles (optics)". The device lets you check out displays of a device, such as a tablet, when you aren’t really looking at it. Not just LG, but Samsung and Microsoft are trying to get their footing into wearable hi-tech glasses. How well these work, only time will tell.
