Weave Stories On Twitter With Custom Timelines

Create curated tweet lists to show off on your Twitter feeds.

 

Unlike a Facebook News Feed, Twitter updates are faster, and hence may slip between the cracks. To fix that, the microblogging service now lets users create "Custom timelines". Its official post suggests that just like hashtag based searches, and standard timelines, you get to create a specific timeline, name it, and add Tweets selective (either manually or via APIs).

These timelines can be shared publicly, and newer tweets will be added to the top of the pile. Such public timelines will be assigned a dedicated URL via twitter.com.
