XOLO Is Set To Launch Q700i For Rs 12,000
The sucessor of the Q700 comes with improved cameras.
XOLO has added yet another member to its Q series of smartphones. Dubbed as Q700i, the new handset is a successor to the company's popular sub-10k phone Q700. So what has changed? Well, in our review, we were quite pleased with the Q700, save for its camera. And that's exactly what XOLO have upgraded in the latest phone. The camera has been upped from 5 to 8 megapixel. It's now said to feature BSI sensor for low-light photography. Moreover, the front-facing VGA camera has been replaced by a 2 megapixel snapper. Rest of the features remain the same, as the phone packs in a 1.2 GHz quad-core Mediatek SOC, 1 GB RAM, 4.5" IPS screen (540x960 pixels), 4 GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 3G, and 2400 mAh battery. The software version hasn't changed either as the Q700i ships with Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).
The Q700i hasn't been officially launched by XOLO yet. However, you can find the details of this upcoming phone on Flipkart.com. According to the e-store, the Q700i will be priced at Rs 12,000. If XOLO has really managed to improved the camera, we think that the Q700i pricing is justified. Currently, there's no word on its date of availability. Keep checking this space for updates.
