Gionee's flaghship — the anorexic Elife E6 gets a new life here in India with its first official launch today in New Delhi.
This made in China, by China, and for Ch...err Asia phone arrives at a affordable price of Rs 23,000. Many online retailers have already been selling this for around Rs 22,000.
The "Slim-Jim from Chin" has loaded specs under the hood. It has a 5" Full HD display with a super slim 6.18 mm unibody design. It has a 1.5 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor (Mediatek chipset) with 2 GB of RAM with 32 GB internal memory. The battery is a 2020 mAh while weighing only 128 grams.

Elife E6 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with company's custom Amigo UI layer. For those who believe Rs 23,000 is a little too much, check out a similarly-specced phone, the Xolo Q1000S, which is equally slim and costs just Rs 15,000.
