Thomson Reuters LawTab Aims To Make Lawyers Tech-Savvy
The HCL Android tablet comes with 2 GB RAM; priced at Rs 20,000.
Now lawyers and judiciary is known to adapt technology and digitisation at a snail's pace. This makes Thomson Reuters LawTab quite an interesting product. While the press release makes no mention of the processor or the tablet's screen size, it does pack in lawyer essentials such as Judge Profile, True Copies, sorting and saving results from the database, Print Cases/ Legislations, Create User Notes, Folder Management, and, Transfer files from Phone or PC using Bluetooth.
The Android Jelly Bean based HCL tablet has the following specs.
- Jelly Bean OS.
- 2 GB RAM.
- 8 GB Internal storage; 16 GB microSD card expandable up to 32 GB.
- 3 MP rear camera; front camera for video calling.
- Office Software.
It does seem like a 7" slate, and has been priced at Rs 20,000. I guess that is the price you pay for high-profile information.
