If you plan to book tickets for the holidays ahead from the comfort of your Windows Phone device, IRCTC has launched its app for Windows Phone and Windows 8 users. The app will work with Windows Phone 7.5 and above.

Most of the features available on the mobile version of IRCTC website including Plan my Travel, Checking PNR Status, Quick Booking, Cancellation, Preferences, and Recent History can be accessed through the app. It also supports Live Tile notifications.
