This is strictly for all the science buffs or may even be for those who just love to watch the Sun but are not able to do so for the obvious reasons. The Sun Live app allows you to track the solar activity and keep an eye on our patron star without actually hurting your eyes. It lets you hunt for flares, prominences, and sunspots by bringing images from the Solar Dynamics Observatory, which was launched in 2010 to observe the Sun 24x7.
The app brings high resolution images of the chromosphere, photosphere, and corona and it can update your Live Tile and the lock screen background image to keep you updated on the latest activity of the Sun.
