Related Headlines Feature Comes To Twitter
Feature expected to be rolled out gradually across the service.
Many people keep a tab on current affairs and news from around the world via Tweets. In a bid to let Tweeters have an in-depth view of the world at large, Twitter has rolled out a new "Related headlines" section. If a particular tweet has been embedded by any online publication, you can find the headlines listed under the tweet.
Although this will not be seen within the Twitter stream, you will have to head over to the tweet's permalink to check out where it has been featured. While the announcement has been made on Twitter's official blog, it makes no mention of how the service works, and if it will apply to older posts. The service will be gradually rolled out through the microblog, and for now it can be seen only on the tweet listed on the blog.
