There is something to rejoice for fans of Plants vs Zombies, because the game's sequel is now up for download on Apple's App Store. Successor to the popular and addictive action-strategy game, comes with improved visuals and gameplay. Just like in the first game, you play as Crazy Dave, who has to amass an army of powerful new plants, and super-charge them with Plant Food to defeat hordes of crazy zombies.

The sequel features a few new plants including Bonk Choy, Bloomerang, and Lightning Reed, who will help you defend your lawn. There are also new zombies such as the Ra Zombie in Ancient Egypt, Swashbuckler Zombie on the Pirate Seas, and Chicken Wrangler Zombie in the Wild West, who have better AI than before and should give you a hard time protecting your brain. The battle takes place on land, sea, and even on rails, with several challenging new levels. The game is available as a free download on the App Store for iPhone 4 and above, iPod touch (4th generation and above), iPad (2 and above), and iPad mini, all running at least iOS 5.1.
