Apple Could Bring Out Thinner iPad This Year
iPad mini with Retina display also said to being readied.
It's not just the iPhone 5S that Apple is scheduled to launch; the company also plans to revamp its tablets. The new iPad is said to be thinner and presumably lighter than the current version. The rumour has been fuelled by the appearance of purported replacement parts for the device, such as the glass touch panel. With a thinner bezel, the 9.7" iOS tablet will now resemble the iPad mini.
The company is also reportedly slated to bring out an iPad mini with an upgraded Retina display. Currently, the 7.9" tablet has a screen with pixel dimensions of 1024x768. Although not explicitly specified, processor and graphics upgrade could be expected. It goes without saying that these new devices will come with iOS 7. The new iPad and iPad mini will not be launched next month along with the iPhone 5S, but will be unveiled before the end of this year.
