Samsung GALAXY Note 3 To Be Launched At IFA 2013

The tab with a larger screen will sport a 3200 mAh battery.

Samsung's next GALAXY Note, the Note 3 is slated to be unveiled by Samsung at the IFA 2013 in Berlin on 4th September this year. Unconfirmed reports had earlier stated that the device will come with a 13 MP rear Xenon Flash rear camera, and the device is even expected to be driven by Samsung's new Exynos 5 octa-processor

Now, a report published in SamMobile mentions various technical specifications in detail, and almost confirms rumours. It states that the Note 3 will launch in two variants, the SM-N900 and SM-N9005 respectively. The GALAXY Note 3 is more or less confirmed to come with a 5.68" display. Apart from this, the various other technical aspects include:

  • Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.
  • 1.8 GHz octa-core Exynos 5 SoC.
  • 13 MP primary camera.
  • 3 GB DDR3 RAM.
  • 32 GB internal storage.
  • MicroSD card slot with support for up to 64 GB.
  • 3200 mAh battery.

The 3200 mAh battery is higher than the 3100 mAh of the GALAXY Note II. The latter offers a talk time of around 15 hours when on 3G, so this one will definitely offer better talktime. Samsung had unveiled the GALAXY Note II at the IFA last year, so we can expect the GALAXY Note 3 being unveiled at this year's event. Also, the South Korean electronics major is hugely expected to launch its own smartwatch at the IFA 2013.
