Android 4.2.2 Update For Samsung GALAXY Grand Duos On The Cards
The update is expected to bring certain enhancements found in Samsung's flagship smartphone, the GALAXY S4.
The Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean firmware upgrade for the Samsung GALAXY Grand Duos (GT-I9082) that has been expected since July this year, has been officially confirmed. The firmware is expected to bring certain GALAXY S4 like features such new home screen, few new widgets, and an enhanced Task Manager, as per a SamMobile report.
As of now, the upgrade is seeding in Russia, and the firmware can be expected to reach India soon. Other enhancements that are expected include a dedicated toggle menu in the status bar, lockscreen widgets, and various performance enhancements. Earlier, Samsung rolled out the Android 4.2.2 firmware upgrade for the GALAXY S2 Plus, and is also expected push out Android 4.3 update to its older flagships, such as the GALAXY S3 and the GALAXY Note 2.
