Press Image Of The LG G2 Leaks Prior To Launch
Could feature a Snapdragon 800 chipset and a 13 MP rear camera.
In recent years, most of LG’s flagship handsets have come from the Optimus series of smartphones. However, now it’s said that the company’s next big thing won’t belong to the Optimus family. Called as LG G2, this phone is expected to be unveiled in next few hours. And as always, the (in) famous @Evleaks has killed the suspense by posting the phone’s press image on to the internet. As you can see in the image below, the phone features the Optimus G Pro esque design. It has large screen and thin bezels. It seems LG has opted for on-screens buttons over the physical capacitive screens. Another interesting thing worth mentioning is sliding lens cover at the rear.
From the looks, the LG G2 definitely looks like a Samsung GALAXY S4 challenger. Currently, we don’t know the phone’s exact specs, but we believe it packs in a quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset, 2 GB RAM, and 13 megapixel rear camera. The official announcement is sheduled at 8.30 PM, and you can watch is right here:
