Gmail Now Allows Users To Compose Emails In Full Screen

The formatting toolbar is said to be on by default in the latest revamp.

Google has recently announced a new feature that lets you compose emails in the full-screen mode. Taking the earlier design revamp for Gmail that started in 2012 ahead, Google says it has rolled out the Compose email in full screen feature after taking into account user feedback.

To turn on  this option, click the expand button at the top-right end of the window. The full-screen mode can be set as default using the more options menu appearing at the bottom-right end of the compose window, with the Default to full screen option.

You can continue to use the current compose window that appears at the right-hand side of the user Inbox, in a separate window. Along with the full-screen email composer, Google has also turned on the the formatting toolbar by default, which will make it easier for Gmail users to format their emails.

Google has started rolling out the new features, and users will get access to them in the next few days.
