The app also brings along the Voice Input feature; requires MS Office 365 suite subscription.
Microsoft has released the new Outlook Web App (OWA) for users for the iPhone and iPad, which is now available for download from iTunes store. The OWA's full functionality is only available for Microsoft's Office 365 suite subscribers. OWA brings with it the Mail, People, and Calendar options in one whole package. There is also a separate screen for navigation that plays host to Live Tiles. Along with this, Microsoft has also packaged the voice input feature, which is the USP of the Outlook Web App.
With the voice-input functionality, users can issue various voice commands such as Open, Close, and Navigate among others. Another important aspect about OWA, is the offline support to read, flag, reply, delete, and even draft new emails.
Microsoft says that iPhone and iPad users can also use Outlook apps within the service, which includes searching for places via Bing Maps. OWA is available in 60 different languages.
