Google Launches Chrome 28 For iOS With Data Compression Support
Google's new browser also features enhancements to its voice search feature.
Google's new web browser Chrome 28, which was released last week for both Desktop and Android, is now available for the iOS users as well. Google's new Chrome browser brings with it a host of enhancements such as interoperability and integration with Google apps on Apple's iOS platform. This feature enables users to sign-in to Google apps with a quick tap once he has signed into Chrome 28.
The browser will let you to open links to Google apps such as YouTube, Google Maps, Google+, and Google Drive, within the apps itself, instead of in the browser. Google says this feature will be extended to other apps as well.
The app offers fullscreen support for browsing on the iPad, alongside access to surfing history. Along with this, Google is also planning on bringing out an experimental data compression technique, which loads web pages faster to save bandwidth, just like in the recently-released Chrome 27 beta for Android. The Chrome 28 is being rolled out in phases, and should be available to all users shortly.
