HP Launches Six New Computers

The cost of these devices range from Rs 24,990 to Rs 69,990.

 

HP has recently launched several devices, which includes notebooks, detachables, and All-in-One PCs that give people more flexibility in how they access and share information. The USP of these devices is that they support multiple operating systems. The new lineup includes HP SlateBook X2 (priced at Rs 39,990), SP Split x2 (priced at Rs 64,990), HP Envy Rove 20 AIO (priced at Rs 69,990), HP Pavillion 11 Touch Smart Notebook (Rs 31,990), HP Envy TouchSmart 14 (priced at Rs 64,990), and the HP Slate 21 (priced Rs 24,990).

Here is a feature-wise break-up of the new devices:

HP Slate BooK x2
The SlateBook x2 comes with an NVIDIA TEGRA 4 processor, and also lets users access the TegraZone app to experience exclusive Tegra 4-optimized games. It comes with a 10.1" HD touchscreen display, up to 64 GB of storage, and incorporates DTS Sound+ technology.

The device has a hinge design and also packs in a dual battery system — one in the base and one with the tablet. With this, people can easily switch from notebook to tablet and back when on the go. HP SlateBook x2 runs Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and gives access to the Google Play store.

HP Split x2
HP Split x2 is a two-in-one detachable PC, which runs Windows 8 and is powered by an Intel Core processor. The Split X2 comes with a 13.3" HD touchscreen display and Beats Audio integration. The HP Split x2 also packs in a 2 megapixel HP TrueVision Full HD webcam and the HP ClickPad for multi-finger and gesture navigation. HP's Split x2 is runs Windows 8 out of the box.

HP Envy Rove 20 AIO
This device marks HP's foray into the All-In-One (AIO) computer segment. The Envy Rove 20 AIO has a 10-point touch-enabled 20" diagonal IPS widescreen HD+ (1600x900) LED backlit display. HP's Envy Rove 20 is powered a 4th-gen Intel Core processor, coupled with Intel HD graphics. Beats Audio technology is also built-in, and HP's flagship AIO also runs Windows 8.

HP Pavillion 11 Touch Smart Notebook
The HP Pavilion 11 TouchSmart Notebook is said to be HP's most affordable touch notebook, and sports a two-tone look with an Ano silver lid finish and a midnight black metal interior. The device is also light-weight and has a thin external frame.

The notebook has a 11.6" capacitive touchscreen with 10-point finger gesture support, and runs the Windows 8 operating system. The HP Pavilion 11 TouchSmart Notebook also has a quad-core processor.

HP Envy TouchSmart 14
HP ENVY TouchSmart 14 Ultrabook is claimed to provide up to nine hours of battery life. This Ultrabook comes with dual speakers, and a subwoofer, with the Envy TouchSmart 14, NVIDIA discrete graphics, and 2 GB of VRAM. The Windows 8 platform drives the HP Envy TouchSmart 14.

HP Slate 21
The HP Slate 21 is an All-In-One (AIO) device, that provides support for Multi-operating systems. The All-in-One has a 21" full HD touchscreen display, and is most suited for general everyday usage. 

It comes with built-in DTS Sound technology and dual-band technology, along with HP TrueVision HD Webcam, and Wireless Direct. The HP Slate 21 runs Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), and is driven by NVIDIA's latest TEGRA 4 processor. Along with this, HP's Slate 21 also incorporates an optical touchscreen with true pinch and zoom functionality.
