New ZTE Geek With NVIDIA TEGRA 4 Chipset Soon
The smartphone's 2GB RAM should work in tandem with the TEGRA 4 processor, to enable high-end games.

If you thought that the XOLO PLay with the NVIDIA TEGRA 3 GPU is the ultimate "gaming machine", then the ZTE Geek (U988S), which is touted to be the world's first smartphone with an NVIDIA TEGRA 4 chipset could blow you away. A post on engadget.com report lists an NVIDIA TEGRA 4 chipset, along with 2 GB of RAM, Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system, 8 MP primary, and 2 MP secondary camera. The phone will pack in a 5" 1080p display as well.
Although the other tech-specs aren't official yet, the details known so far look good, at least on paper. When released in India, it will compete against the recently-released XOLO Play T1000. But for now, the new ZTE Geek will hit the Chinese market first (via China Mobile). We can expect it to launch in India by end of 2013. However, if you do plan to buy one, you need to know of the older ZTE Geek with an Intel Atom processor (model no U988S).
