New Panasonic Smartphones Surface, To Release By July
The Panasonic's P11 and T11 are both quad-core devices.
Panasonic, a brand that is known more for its LCD televisions and home-appliances, rather than its smartphones, has two new smartphones up its sleeve. After its flagship P51 (priced at Rs 26,900), it has brought out the Panasonic P11 and T11, of which the P11 is up for pre-order on Flipkart. The Panasonic P11 has a price tag of Rs 16,990, while details of the Panasonic T11 are not official yet.
Panasonic's P11 smartphone seems to be a slightly toned-down version of the company's P51 both in terms of price and tech-specs. Here are the key technical specifications as listed on Flipkart:
- 5" capacitive HD touch screen IPS display with 720x1280 pixels.
- Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
- 1.2 GHz quad-core processor.
- Dual-SIM support (GSM+GSM).
- 8 MP primary camera, 1.3 MP secondary camera.
- 1 GB RAM.
- 4 GB internal storage.
- MicroSD card slot for expansion up to 32 GB.
- 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, microUSB connectivity.
- 2000 mAh Li-Ion battery.
The tech specs of the T11 on Flipkart include:
- 4" capacitive touch-screen display.
- Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
- 1.2 GHz quad-core processor.
- Dual-SIM support (GSM+GSM).
- 5 MP primary camera, front VGA secondary camera.
- 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, microUSB connectivity.
- 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery.
Considering the technical details of the T11, we expect it to have a price tag of around Rs 13K. Both of Panasonic's new smartphones are expected to be launched by the end of July 2013.
