Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition Finally Out For PC
After years of waiting, PC gamers finally have their wish come true.
Santa's come early this year round, especially for PC gamers. Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition, which had been baking with Voltage Software, is finally out digitally on PC on Steam Store for $30 (approx Rs 1800). The physical retail copy will release on 6th August for the Windows OS.
The Komplete Edition has all of the previously released downloadable content (DLC) in one neat package, which includes new DLC warriors such as Skarlet, Kenshi, Rain, and the nightmarish dream stalker Freddy Krueger, as well as much-loved 15 Klassic Mortal Kombat Skins and three sweet Klassic Fatalities (Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Reptile). The only character left out is Kratos (God of War), who is exclusive to the PS3 and Vita versions.
The game also supports the Mortal Kombat Tournament Edition Fight Stick for "full controller capability". Players will be able to access everything from Tag Team, Challenge Tower, full feature story mode, 1 vs. 1 matches, spectate battles, and interact directly with Kombatants online during the King of the Hill mode.
So Why Did They Take So Long To Come Out With This?
The publisher NetherRealm Studios was overly concerned about piracy on the PC platform, and therefore did not want to release MK series on the PC. After much cajoling, convincing, and seeing the success that Street Fighter IV has been on PC, NetherRealm finally agreed.
