Flipboard Brings Instagram Video Support For iOS, Android Apps

The latest feature doesn't reflect in the apps changelogs though.

 

Looks like videos seems to be the next big thing in social media these days. Twitter seems to be punishing its Vine service more aggressively, to beat the heat generated by FB's Instagram videos announcement.

The Magazine-styled RSS reader app is now seeding a new update for both the iOS as well as Android  platforms with support for Instagram videos. Although the changelogs only talk about sharing links on Twitter and Facebook, and bug fixes, the NextBigWeb suggests it will also show Instagram videos.

So now, you can expect Harry Potter-esque talking magazines, but that may not be a good thing for those on expensive data plans.
