Jivi 2010 Feature Phone Comes With A One Press SOS Button
Meant for women, the budget handset is priced at Rs 1700.

Feature phones these days seem to have spare buttons that serve multiple purposes. After SIM management, Facebook button, and Whatsapp keys, it's now the turn of an SOS key. Aimed to help women this new phone from Jivi Mobile called Jivi 2010, is a feature phone sporting a "dedicated SOS button". Similar to what we've seen in smartphone apps such as FightBack, you need to press the button long enough to dial 5 pre-defined numbers one at a time. The Dual-SIM dual standby comes with a 2.4" screen (240x320 pixels). Other features include 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio with recording, Bluetooth, micro USB port and microSD card support for up to 32 GB.
The handset is priced at just Rs 1700 (MRP), but expect it to be available as low as Rs 1350 on e-commerce sites soon. The phone comes in white, red, and black variants with a metallic or chrome finish.
