In the past, we've seen Hindi movies using innovative promotional tactics, including games based on titles (like Ra. One). As sites such as Flipkart complain of losses in online music owing to piracy, the recently-released Fukrey has taken an interesting approach. The film has put up an app on the Windows Phone store that gives you access songs and videos from the movie, along with friendship cards that can be personalised.

There is also an app for Android users, but that comes via the Amazon app store. It is free of cost there as well, but since the app repository is not available in India yet, it comes to you as an APK file.
