Many desire to conquer the highest peak in the world, the Mount Everest. Although not everybody can trek up the treacherous path, the peak is said to offer some amazing and breath-taking views. How do we know that? Well, there are several ways to virtually navigate to those splendid heights; here is yet another way to do so from the comfort of your iDevice.

The Mount Everest 3D app gives you access to have a tour of the peak from any angle, as well as go through the area. The 3D map high-resolution images have been sourced from WorldView satellites. The app description says that it will take you from "Lukla to Mount Everest base camp and ascend the roof of the world, via the Khumbu Icefall and the Lhotse flank".
