Hipstamatic's Oggl, which until a couple of days was an app that could be used by users only through invites sent by Hipstamatic, is now available publicly for users of Apple's iOS platform. Hipstamatic Oggl, is also touted as an alternative to popular photo-editing app Instagram, it lets you share all of your best photos, build up your own Oggl profile via which you can also tell the story of your life by expressing via photos/images, the most important milestones of your life.

With the app, you can edit photos as and when you click them, add filters to make photos more beautiful, and of course share these pictures on leading social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Foursquare, Flickr and Tumblr. Hipstamatic's Oggl, by default comes with "Favourites" option, that provide 5 different shooting modes viz. Landscape, Portrait, Food, Sunset and Nightlife. iOS  users can select these modes to capture photos and edit them and apply different effects, and can preview the edited photos with just a tap on the touch screen.

Oggl comes with various filters that users can select to make photos appealing. However the free app comes with 5 different filters With these, even photography novices can add artistic effects in a simple manner. Also, the app brings to iOS users the ability to tap-and-hold, to focus feature along with the drag to set exposure aspect. Hipstamatic Oggl photo-filter is also available in a paid-version to iOS users. By opting for the paid version, users would be provided with more photo filter options including that of the 5 photo filters provided in the free-version.
