Google I/O: Android Studio Development Environment For Devs To Make Better Apps
Newly announced Android Studio could improve QC of apps developed for Android devices.
At the ongoing Google I/O developers conference, a new development environment termed Android Studio has been announced. It is expected to feature tools which could result in the enhancement of existing Android apps and creation of new apps, especially for Android tablets. A Verge report states that layout tools can be expected in the Android Studio, which could bring about an overall optimization in app interfaces across a host of devices.
Android Studio, once developed, would ensure that developers working on a specific projects get to observe changes in the development environment dynamically, a feature that could result in intuitive monitoring and quality control of new apps.
Along with these, Google is also expected to incorporate a new app translation service which would ensure translations from the console, rather than having to depend on third-party services. Android Studio would also come with a separate section with tips/hints related to development and optimization of apps.
However the most important aspect would be Referral Tracking which lets developers choose the ads that they find effective for the promotion of their respective apps. This aspect would work in tandem with Google's Analytics so as to help track the various parameters of the developed/deployed apps. A revenue graphs feature to display app revenue has been incorporated into the Android Studio, along with the ability to roll out test versions of the developed apps before deploying them.
There are even more enhancements that Google has not come out with right now. We can expect these along with the optimization resulting from the Android Studio, in future Android apps.
