Micromax Canvas A110Q Quad Core Phone Surfaces
Its price tag is expected to be between Rs 10,000-Rs 15,000, taking into account Micromax's general pricing strategy of its Canvas smartphone series.
After Micromax announced the Canvas 3D A115 (expected price Rs 10K) which is said to offer users a glasses-free 3D experience, another of Micromax's seemingly popular Canvas series smartphones has shown up online. This smartphone with the model name Canvas A110Q is expected to be launched shortly. A Droid Extra report says this smartphone would be a quad-core variant, and run the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform, out of the box.
As of now, the only known tech specs of the Micromax Canvas A110Q are:
- 5" display having 480x854 pixels
- Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) platform
- 1.2 GHz quad-core processor
- 1GB RAM
- 4GB internal storage
- MicroSD card slot for expansion up to 32GB
- Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity
The Canvas A110Q may be a more economical variant of Micromax's A116 Canvas HD, to compete with other quad-core Androids in the 10k price range. It could grab eyeballs with its Android 4.2 operating system, as Android 4.2 is a relatively new OS version. The device's 1GB RAM might just be OK when running of low-end games are taken into consideration.
There is no word yet about the price tag of the Canvas A110Q, however, keeping in mind the tech-specs which the phone is expected to incorporate, and taking into account Micromax's pricing strategy with respect to earlier Canvas series smartphones, we think that the device is likely to fall on the lower side of the Rs 10k-15k price range.
